Colson Caster Brakes

Colson’s top lock brake provides positive braking on all wheel materials.  Brake is easy to engage and disengage due to the cam activated brake mechanism.  Compatible with all 2 series wheel diameters. 

Due to its durable lightweight thermoplastic construction, this brake is best suited for wet or corrosive conditions.  Along with its easy maintenance free operation, this brake is suitable for all wheel types.  Temperature range: -30°F to 250°F. Compatible with 4” and 5” 2 series wheels.

The enforcer side lock brake was designed specifically for the thicker leg of the fork and engages a positive locking force on the wheel hub to ensure loads are held securely.  The large foot pedal design allows for easy operation and convenience.  Available on 4”- 8” 4 series Enforcer casters with roller or Delrin bearings.

Brake constructed from polished stainless steel and provides positive reliable braking under harsh operating conditions.  Compatible with all 4 series stainless steel swivel casters.

The total lock brake locks both the wheel and swivel in any position with a simple tap of the foot.  Thermoplastic design resists against corrosion and rust.  Compatible on all 4 series casters with the exception of Enforcer models, wheels with a 3 ¼” wheel diameter or V-Groove wheels.  

The tread lock brake is adjustable and toe activated for positive braking via a rubber faced plate. Available on 4”-8” 4 series casters with the exception of V-Groove wheels.
