Colson Group USA HydroTech™ Line of Casters Available from C.P. Lauman Company
Westborough, MA—As the Northeast factory-authorized Colson Group USA distributor, C.P. Lauman Co. is proud to announce the availability of HydroTech™, the latest line of casters and wheels from the Colson Group USA. As the leaders in caster engineering, Colson Group USA is focusing on wet applications with its new HydroTech™ TPE alloy material.
This innovative new line of casters and wheels are built to last and specifically designed to withstand continuous exposure to wet conditions. This newly developed line is for you if you’re tired of your wheels cracking and falling apart after long-term exposure to any type of moisture, especially water and mild chemicals.
Not only will this new TPE technology prolong the life of your casters, but this technology has the same load capacity and rollability as the standard TPU material you are accustomed to working with. These USA-made wheels are formulated for excellent abrasion resistance and offer a 40D (+/-5) durometer. Even with continuous exposure to moisture, you can expect a significant increase in the life of these new HydroTech™ casters.
Colson Group USA’s uniquely designed HydroTech™ casters are engineered to provide unparalleled mobility and ease of movement for all your wet application needs. We’re covering two of the Colson Group’s top brands Albion and Colson in today’s post. Both offer different series from the HydroTech™. Let’s begin by exploring how HydroTech™ can improve rollability, offer increased durability, and support your wet application needs better than other casters.
Depending on your unique application needs, C.P. Lauman Company is offering a variety of different caster combinations with your choice of 4 Series and D4 Defender Series HydroTech™ options. Choose the brake and lock combinations which work for your application. Both caster series offer rigid or swivel top plate models to choose from. Find C.P. Are HydroTech™ Casters Better Than Other Casters for Wet Applications?
What sets HydroTech™ casters and wheels apart from other lines available on the market is the TPE material Albion and Colson use. TPE material is a thermoplastic elastomer known for being tear-resistant and soft to the touch. TPE promises a significantly increased life expectancy for your casters and wheels compared to TPU based models.
TPU material is a thermoplastic polyurethane known for its durability, flexibility, and strength. While this material is reliable for most applications, TPU absorbs moisture easily. Over time, your TPU wheels become foamy and lose the smooth finish which keeps them rolling easily. This makes TPU the least ideal material for wet applications, especially over prolonged exposure to moisture. Albion and Colson HydroTech™ models use TPE and are engineered to withstand continuous exposure to moisture as a result. All treads are fusion bonded to prevent tread separation as well as cracking. Instead of wondering how long your casters will last, switch to TPE HydroTech™ casters and wheels for your wet applications.
Why Choose HydroTech™ for Increased Rollability and Load Capacity?
HydroTech™ casters are not like any other thermoplastic elastomer casters available on the market today. They are equipped with cutting-edge technology allowing them to roll smoothly and handle significant loads with ease. Other casters crack and fall apart after excessive exposure to water. HydroTech™ casters are designed to stay outside, withstand moisture, and perform even in the most demanding environments. While this line features TPE material, expect the same reliable load capacity and rollability as your TPU casters. The innovative technology used in these casters and wheels ensures they will provide maximum performance and excellent abrasion resistance too. With HydroTech™, you can be confident your equipment will move smoothly and safely overtime.
